Just 6

Just 6 is a six-member Afro-Pop and Vocal Jazz ensemble from Pretoria, South Africa, established in 2011. They are a twice Grammy-nominated group that has gained great appreciation for their clean, crisp vocals, distinct harmonies, and unforgettable melodies.

The group is known for their unique style, AFRO-VOCAL PLAY, which uses their voices to imitate instrument sounds. Just 6 was originally formed in 2011 as a four-part harmony group singing traditional doo-wop gospel music in church. Over the years, they have expanded to a dynamic sextet.

Just 6 has won multiple awards and competitions and has toured in Europe and Africa, performing at various events and festivals. They have released two EPs (“Stimela” and “Take Me Back”) and three award-winning albums (“Kuzolunga”, “Afro-Vocal Play Volume 1”, and “uKhisimusi – A Just 6 Christmas”) showcasing their inspirational and heartfelt music.
