From the beautiful hills of the eastern cape to the vast shores of Durban, the story of the rose that grew from concrete is one best expressed through the gift of music. Moneoa has not only performed around the world with names like Black Coffee, and Hugh Masekela but she’s also produced two number 1 hits, the timeless classics “Isbhanxa” and “More than you”. She’s been nominated for multiple awards including 2 SAMA’s, 4 Metrofm Awards and 5 World Music Awards and has shown through her collaborations in Hip Hop, AfroBeats and Jazz, that artists don’t have to box themselves into one category when it comes to expression. Moneoa has stated that the greatest drive in her artistry is using her influence and music to heal and breathe life into people, thus being prevalent in charity, being an ambassador for non-profit organisations like “Act Africa” and “UNICEF”… which is why the theme of her night is befitting.
“Remedial Tones” is an ode to healing and resilience.
