Angilelanga – iiNceba zoMdali ENDLER CONCERT SERIES

After an appearance at Constellations at Spier in 2022, the director Brett Bailey of Third World Bunfight invited Ncebakazi Mnukwana to perform at the Spier Harvest Festival 2023 with an ensemble. Ncebakazi approached musician extraordinaire and arranger Lungiswa Plaatjies of Langa, Cape Town to produce the ensemble. Kim Masala, a marimba player and percussionist and Bongani Nikelo, an Afro-Jazz electric bass player joined the ensemble. Ncebakazi brought forward the traditional and indigenous music repertoire.

Come and enjoy eclectic African music that speak to our Pan-African traditions, whilst incorporating indigenous music instruments such as uHadi, uMrhubhe, Dodo Harp, Nyungwe Nyungwe, Marimba and Kayomba.
