Bantwanas at Selective Live

Cape Town, South Africa — Internationally renowned live electronic collective Bantwanas is set to take audiences on an intimate yet immersive sonic journey with a series of exclusive performances at Selective Live in Cape Town on 12 April 2025.

Presented with support from Concerts SA, and funded by the South African National Treasury’s Jobs Fund in collaboration with the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) under the Festival Enterprise Catalyst (FEC), this tour promises to showcase Bantwanas’ signature fusion of deep electronic grooves and organic African instrumentation.

Led by acclaimed producer Blanka Mazimela, Bantwanas has captivated global audiences with their innovative sound, blending rich, emotive vocals with intricate percussion and melodic house textures. Their music has been released on esteemed labels such as Cercle Records, Anjunadeep, and All Day I Dream, earning them recognition among the finest in Afro-electronic music.
