Carlo Mombelli & The Prisoners of Strange

Bassist Carlo Mombelli remains one of the most restlessly creative forces in South African jazz.

Carlo will be performing alongside musicians who have toured the world, played at some of the greatest international festivals, and recorded with legendary artists from South African and international music scenes. Together, they have travelled extensively, and their album “Theory” remains as fresh and innovative as it was on the day of its release.
