Join us for an evening of inspiring and uplifting music hosted by Genevieve & Milo and Sky Dladla.
A collaborative journey in sound, into the stillness of the heart.
Genevieve & Milo are a music duo hailing from the Mother City. Combining Genevieve’s rich vocals with Milo’s vibrant percussion, their music explores topics of love, connection and reverence for the natural world. Each song is a story of personal unravelling and remembrance and invites the listener into their own inner world. The duo was formed organically between two dear friends, Genevieve Lee (vocals and guitar) and Milo Sun (percussion), featuring Christian Wing on bass.
The duo’s first EP “Carrying Water” was released this year and is available on all streaming platforms.
Sky Dladla is a multi-talented African musician and instrument enthusiast, hailing from Gugulethu township in Cape Town. Her journey with music began in school with the marimba, and has continued to evolve throughout her studies in African Music at the University of Cape Town. Sky’s music is an awakening of the ancient, traditional music of her ancestry, reinvigorated with a new depth and energy of the new age.
