*This album is a reflection of my journey through life, love and faith over the years. Sharing stories that are authentic to me; first and second hand experiences that resonate mostly with everyone; tales of failed relationships, whirlwind love stories, journeying with God and the constant awakening of a tenacious hustler’s spirit.
*Traces of neo soul, gospel and afro jazz are evident throughout this body of work. My Zulu tradition also plays a huge role in cementing my sound. The 12 songs in Isibusiso Sami, written beautifully ngo Lwimi lwasekhaya is how I express my inner most thoughts and ideologies. Even in a foreign language, there’s a song that speaks to your spirit. This is a colourful celebration of a dream fulfilled.
