Of Tete Mbambisa, prominent SA trumpeter Feya Faku says of Tete Mbambisa ( I paraphrase ) “From the 1950’s when he was a member of the Four Yanks and for more than 60 years Bra Tete Mbambisa has been composing, writing and playing epic South African Jazz Music. He is the only living member of the Soul Jazzmen band that recorded the historical album ‘Inhlupheko’ . His compositions ” Umsenge, Dembese and Emavungweni” have become South African Standards”

Bhut’Tete Dr. Mbambisa has had new energy injected into his musical career by the release of archived material recorded in 1975 ‘African Day’ and the CD will be on sale. Tete Mbambisa is presently on a tour of Gqeberha and Gauteng.
