Bokang Ramatlapeng a Mzantsi Jazz Award Winner, born in Johannesburg South, Gauteng, Bokang’s formative musical lessons began in primary school. She joined the school choir and her passion for pursuing music as a career was ignited in grade seven when was given the opportunity to feature as a soloist.
To further pursue her love for music, she then studied at the National School of the Arts and was taught by Omagugu Makhatini and Njabulo Nene.
Bokang is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Pretoria. currently nominated for Basadi Music Awards 2024 under the Best Jazz Song Category.
