UCT Strings Competition Finals

The UCT Strings Competition is now open to high school string players AND all string players registered at the University of Cape Town, as well as all incoming students and alumni who graduated in or after 2019. The competition provides a nurturing atmosphere for young talent and strives to be recognized as a competition that promotes excellence in string instrument performance. The finalists will perform a short recital programme consisting of approximately 30 minutes of music. The UCT Strings Competition hopes to bring together communities to witness wonderful performances by gifted artists with a bright future ahead of them at the beginning of their careers.
