Road to Hey Neighbour!
It’s Thee day!
A lot has taken place since our good friends at Glen21 Entertainment first announced and introduced their Hey Neighbour concept and festival to us back in May. A lot of questions were asked and doubt cast, but we are now past all that and are officially on for day one of the festival today (8 December)!
Amidst all that has happened in lead up, one thing for sure is that the excitement from not only our friends at Hey Neighbour, but from ourselves and audiences alike has been on an incline!
The Hey Neighbour 3-day festival concept introduced a much needed change to our local eventing space, a different type of buzz and overall breath of fresh air. With every new tickets phase drop and artist announcement, we’ve been kept on our feet. It has felt like a growing success story that we’ve all formed a part of. We have seen sponsors come on board, we’ve seen the lineup expand and have had the imagery of the vision slowly form in our minds.
It all started off with the announcement of headliners, Khalid, The Chainsmokers, Swedish House Mafia and H.E.R alongside the first phase ticket release, quickly followed up by the announcement of day 2 headliner Kendrick Lamar a few days later.
